En 1990, el sello germano-británico Gymnastic Records -actualmente Chrom Records- editó un extraño recopilatorio que se salía totalmente de sus habituales. Tanto Gymnastic como Chrom Records han ido editando los trabajos de Deine Lakaien -y sus proyectos paralelos- y otras bandas de corte electrónico como Distain! o Stendal Blast. Sin embargo, en esta ocasión se atrevió con una compilación compuesta por bandas bastante menos conocidas y asequibles.
Desde los puntales del neofolk y el industrial primigenio (NON, Death in June y Sol Invictus), la EBM de vieja escuela con cierto toque extravagante (Yeth Mae) hasta propuestas más cercanas al post-punk como Mephisto Waltz y Savage Republic, pasando por los experimentos personales de Rozz Williams (Premature Ejaculation) y Eva O (Superheroines). Mención aparte merece el clásico recitado de Anton LaVey. Una histriónica oración satanista que sirve de guinda para el álbum y de prólogo perfecto para el tema sucesivo.
